Supplier Partner Industry Essentials Series: Decision-Making at Associations
As an industry partner you’re an important part of the association team; but marketing and sales to associations are different than in the B2B environment. And even if you have experience in the nonprofit world, associations differ from other nonprofits. Learn how to be successful with associations in a session designed to tell you what you need to know and more about the Chicago association community. Walk away with a better understanding of how to build and sustain successful and fruitful relationships with associations.

Learning Objectives:
  • Recognize the basics of association organization and structure [focusing on decision-making roles of volunteers and staff] that influence industry partner and business development decisions
  • Understand how to develop and maintain productive relationships with association leaders
  • Recognize the role that professional organizations play in enhancing the effectiveness of industry partners’ business development
