Supplier Partner Industry Essentials Series: Working Effectively with Associations
As an industry partner you’re an important part of the association team; but marketing and sales to associations are different than in the B2B environment. And even if you have experience in the nonprofit world, associations differ from other nonprofits. Walk away with an understanding of the fundamental components of the association industry, volunteer leadership and the professional staff roles within an association. Learn how outsourcing and vendor decisions are made at associations so you can build long-standing relationships with the association community to drive your organization's revenue.

Learning Objectives:
  • What is an association and how do they differ from other nonprofits?
  • What is the decision-making framework at associations?
  • What are the "do's and dont's" of working with association leaders?
