About The Presenter:

Phil Lesser, Ph.D, CAE
Vice President, Bostrom 
In addition to having been the CEO of several national organizations, Phil has extensive experience with trade associations, professional societies, and credentialing bodies. He consults and trains in a variety of subjects, specializing in facilitation, strategic planning, volunteer and staff development, organization structure and bylaws. Phil concentrates in consulting support that enables organizations to learn how to adopt effective management practices and achieve organizational success.
Phil has been Chairman of the Association Forum of Chicagoland, Chairman of the Certified Association Executive [CAE] Commission of the American Society of Association Executives [ASAE], and ASAE’s CEO Advisory Board. He is a frequent contributor to professional publications and a popular presenter at educational events, as well as teaching strategic planning at The University of Chicago.
Educated at Washington University and the University of Chicago, he holds a PhD in Administration and Policy Development. In addition, he is a Certified Association Executive [CAE] awarded by the American Society of Association Executives and participated in the US Chamber of Commerce Institutes for Organization Management at the University of Notre Dame.
