Annie Storey is a seasoned association professional. She began her career working on a grant funded youth violence prevention program with Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and was soon introduced to the world of component relations and membership. Having worked at the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Agriculture Future of America, she has built a professional portfolio of event management, leadership training and development, strategic planning, social media promotions, and member engagement. As the Senior Manager, Chapter and District Relations at the American Academy of Pediatrics, Annie works closely with the chapter executive directors and volunteer chapter leaders to develop strong association solutions that maximize staff’s time and capacity and allows the chapters to focus in on their mission critical work. Annie received her CAE designation in 2016 and is a proud member of ASAE, serving on the Component Relations and Volunteer Management Section Council. She is a 2019 Forty Under 40 awardee. She grew up in rural Nebraska and calls Chicago home, living in the suburbs with her husband and two daughters.
