Video Marketing SIG: An overview of how to effectively leverage video production and marketing into your organizations strategic communication and outreach efforts.
The statistics around strategic video marketing have been well know for several years in this digital age of Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram. Numbers that speak for themselves. Such as the fact that video on a landing page can increase conversions by 80% or more, and that the average consumer spends 88% more time on a website that contains video. But the question still remains, how do associations leverage video marketing to benefit their organizations marketing efforts? This seminar will look at utilizing video to increase association membership, developing video advocacy campaigns around your associations mission, and embedding quality video that increases the associations exposure in the branded video space.

About the Presenter:
Brian Schodorf is a producer, director, writer, and editor with over a decade of experience in television and video
production. He is the Executive Director of Schodorf Media Creative, a Chicago based national production company that specializes in non-profit, tourism, national politics, association and convention related videos. His documentary
films and entertainment shows have earned numerous awards including; Telly Awards, 12 Emmy-Nominations, and an Emmy Award in 2012 for his feature documentary “The Wayman Tisdale Story”. In 2013 Schodorf was named the Media Professional of the Year in his home state of Kansas by the Topeka Capital Journal. He was the Director of Video Production for 6 years at Choose Chicago and has worked with dozens of destination, corporate, and association clients. He resides in Chicago, IL and is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelors Degree in Television Production and a Masters Degree in Media Management.
