Parking:
There are a few visitor parking places located in the front of the 9400 building. However there is a parking garage adjacent to the building for attendee use. Parking is Free - when parking participants need to take a ticket at the gate in the parking garage and bring it with them to have it validated at the security desk when they arrive in the building or prior to leaving the building. Ticket needs to be validated in order to exit.
Attendees should NOT park in the Hampton Inn and Suites parking unless they are registered guests at the hotel - Non-guest vehicles will be subject to towing.

About The Presenter(s):
Elmer Corbin serves as Director of Delivery Excellence for IBM Watson Health. In this role he is the executive responsible for collaborating globally across IBM and with industry partners to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of breakthrough innovation in cloud and Watson cognitive services to help create strategic advantage for IBM’s clients and accelerate successful achievement of their mission and goals. Throughout his 30 year career at IBM, he has served in a wide variety of major technical, business, and executive leadership roles, including leading a business unit of over 700 employees responsible for the development of the IBM BlueGene/L supercomputer and the core processor technology that helped all three of IBM’s leading video game console clients (Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft) revolutionize the home entertainment market. Prior to his current role, he led the enterprise transformation of IBM’s global quality management system and created an innovative, cloud-based, client experience analytics framework to provide insights on ways to improve the end-to-end experience our clients have with IBM.
Mr. Corbin is a very active participant in the community and mentoring programs, both inside and outside IBM. He is the IBM Partnership Executive for Southern University and A&M College and a member of the Southern University Business and Industry Cluster Board, where he led and orchestrated the installation of IBM Cloud Infrastructure and help to develop implementation strategy on the Baton Rouge campus. He is also a former Chairman of the Board for the Power.org international consortium. He is the 2017 Chair-elect for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Board of Directors.
Mr. Corbin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Texas in Austin, and he is a Certified Professional Engineer by the Texas State Board of Professional Engineers.
