Dr. Hamed Abbaszadegan is a double board-certified physician in the fields of internal medicine and clinical informatics. He has served as an associate program director for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Clinical Informatics Fellowship program and is slated to become the Program Director in September of 2017. In his role with the fellowship-training program, he is responsible for core informatics training, and project/program development at multiple healthcare systems.

He received a Master of Business Administration specializing in health administration from Temple University, after which he served in executive roles at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel). Pomerantz has held CEO roles at the Drug Information Association, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Society of Interventional Radiology, and Clinical Laboratory Management Association.
