Program Description: 

This Young Professionals SIG event is designed to provide attendees with meaningful conversations in a highly interactive format. During this session, you will see "lightning" style presentations on a variety of topics with breakout group discussions to follow. Presenters will move from the stage to the gallery in order to serve as moderators for each conversation pod. Whether you are an emerging leader or a more seasoned professional interested in offering your perspective as a mentor, join us for this dynamic session.
Topics may include:
  • From Cribs to Cubicles - Discussion for working parents
  • I Didn't Choose the Association Life, the Association Life Chose Me - Discussion for "new to association" professionals and suppliers
  • Level Up - Discussion for association professionals seeking advice on "must have" skills, how to be marketable, and best practices for advancing their careers
  • A Morning Off Sounded Nice - General discussion with fun and interesting prompting questions on random work-related topics

We know one is a lonely number. That’s why we invite you to bring a guest to a Shared Interest Group meeting. Not a member? No problem. Non-members can attend one complimentary event before becoming a member of Association Forum. Join others with shared interests and discuss issues, ideas and trends. All guests must be pre-registered!
Note: This program is not endorsed, accredited, or affiliated with ASAE or the CAE program.  Applicants may use any program that meets eligibility requirements in the specific timeframe towards the exam application or renewal. There are no specific individual courses required as part of the applications – selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.
