Program Description: SIG Co-Chair Melissa Kabadian, MA, CMP will lead this session by presenting a case study on the American College of Prosthodontists experience managing a partial cancellation of their annual meeting in 2012 , the meeting was impacted by hurricane sandy in Baltimore. Melissa is the Associate Executive Director, Education and Meetings for the American College of Prosthodontists and has extensive experience working for several health care associations in Chicago planning annual conferences and educational programs. This session will present the case study in a panel format covering key areas such and meeting cancellation insurance, communications plans, exhibits and registration contingency plans. Participants will have time to ask questions of the panelists as well as share their own stories.
