The Executive Leadership Bootcamp for Aspiring CEOs is a full-day program designed to empower and educate association leaders who want to make the jump to the role of chief executive. This high-level learning program both expands upon existing strengths and introduces tools to expand your leadership capabilities, build your confidence, and transform your effectiveness. In this interactive session, the facilitators will provide insights as provocateurs, practitioners and story-tellers to provide you actionable information on how to:

  • Develop your leadership presence to enhance your potential as a future chief executive
  • Master the difference between executive presence and leadership presence
  • Understand the full scope of the chief executive function.
  • Build your leadership and strategic capacity to maximize organizational dynamics
About The Presenter(s):
Cynthia Mills, FASAE, CAE, CMC, CPC, CCRC, is the Founder, President & CEO of The Leaders’ Haven, a consultancy partnering with clients to align for impact and exceed expectations. TLH serves corporations, small and family-owned businesses, associations, not-for-profits, and faith-based communities as business strategist, board consultant, leadership development catalyst, executive & career coach, succession planning & change management guide, speaker, and facilitator.
An award-winning national and international CEO, Cynthia works with developing & committed leaders, future seekers, change masters, high performers, and corporate culture architects to exceed expectations. Clients are leaders nationally and internationally, serving business & industry, finance, energy, healthcare, co-op, legal, retail, agriculture, senior living, real estate, environmental, publishing, media, transportation, construction, safety, education, entertainment, hospitality, philanthropy, fraternity, and faith sectors.
Cynthia holds an MA from the University of York, England earned as a Rotary International Ambassador Scholar and a dual BA from Queens College as a Presidential Scholar. She is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), Association of Charlotte Area Consultants (ACAC), International Coach Federation (ICF), International Coaching Council (ICC), American Society of Association Executives, (ASAE), Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC); was awarded an Honorary Lifetime Membership in the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE); and is a Lifetime Member of Strathmore Who’s Who Worldwide, which honored her as the Professional of the Year for Consulting, Coaching, and Professional Development.
An ASAE Fellow, Cynthia served on the Board and Executive Committee of ASAE, ASAE’s for-profit subsidiary Board, ASBI, and was President of GSAE. She was awarded the GSAE President’s Award & the Clifford Clark Award, the TCIA Chair’s Award twice, Outstanding Southeastern Association Executive and was elected as Fellows Chair by her peers. Cynthia is a Certified Master Coach, Professional Coach, Christian Coach, and Association Executive. 
Cynthia is author of “CEOs First 90 Days: Breathing Tips for the Other End of the Fire Hose, and The Empty Front Porch: Soul Sittin’ to Design Your porch to Porch Plan and is a co-author with Jack Canfield of The Big Secret and a featured author in The Female Factor: A Confidence Guide for Women, both due for release in 2017.
Gregory J. Fine, CAE is a recognized association executive with more than 20 years of demonstrated success in helping membership-based organizations grow and prosper. Since 2011, he has been Global Chief Executive Officer of the Turnaround Management Association, an international professional association of members that seek to strengthen the global economy by working to save distressed businesses, help management navigate off-plan events, and help healthy companies avoid similar pitfalls. Prior to his current position, he served as vice president of marketing and communications for the Association for Corporate Growth. Before that, he was the director of communications and marketing as well as the executive editor of FORUM magazine for the Association Forum of Chicagoland. Greg's association tenure includes both professional society and trade association experience with positions in senior management, government affairs, membership, marketing and, communications.
Greg is an acknowledged leader in the association community and an active volunteer. He is a past member of the boards of The American Society of Association Executives and ASAE Foundation and is a past president of Association Media and Publishing. Greg sits on the United States Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Leadership Advisory Council and is faculty emeritus for the Chamber’s Institute of Organizational Management. He was awarded the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from ASAE in June 2003 and has served as a faculty member for the NYSAE and Association Forum of Chicagoland CAE prep courses. He is a contributing author to Membership Essentials, has written for FORUM, Associations Now, and Signature magazines, and is a highly rated and sought after international speaker on the topics of strategy, leadership, multi-generational workforce, association trends, social media, membership, marketing, and volunteerism. Greg was named the Angerosa Research Foundation’s inaugural 2008 Publishing Trendsetter, an award recognizing innovation that advances association publishing. In October 2009, he was selected as a “Young and Aspiring Association Professional” by Association TRENDS.
Greg is a proud Montana native. At age 18, he became one of the youngest elected officials in the state’s history when he was elected to the Missoula County High Schools Board of Trustees, a post he held for almost five years, including tenure as board chair. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Montana and currently resides in Chicago.
