Hi Elspeth,
I saw this was unanswered so I wanted to weigh in. The key phrase in the answer (C) is
strategic plan. Start at the strategy level to evaluate what is stated in each of the committee charges for these committees. D also seems like a good answer, but this is a bit more tactical. Like we talked about yesterday, when the question asks "what is the
best solution", consider the first step. You would first align the committee charges with the strategic plan before you get to the tactical step of reorganizing the committee structure.
Hope that helps.
@Nicole Bradle, feel free to add anything else!

Hi Nicole, thanks so much to you and Donna for leading last night!
I'm struggling with the second scenario question in the CAE study guide (pg 61). I guessed D, thinking that this would be a good opportunity to assess if all fifteen standing committees were needed, and make adjustments to the volunteer committee structure. The answer, C, also seems like an important step but it assumes that all committees are still relevant. Can you help?
