Association Forum’s 2nd Annual Forum Forward Event to Provide Breakthrough Ideas, Solutions

CHICAGO (June 16, 2015) – Association Forum’s second annual Forum Forward™ event for association management leaders and professionals launches this week—June 16-17—at Chicago’s McCormick Place, providing more than 30 dynamic education experiences and a unique exhibit hall, dubbed the “Innovation Hub,” in which attendees can test new tools and technologies to transform how they manage their organizations and member experiences.

Content is centered on six content pillars: the association model of the future, leadership horizons, marketing, technology, revenue and women’s issues. Among this year’s keynote presenters who will offer forward-thinking ideas and action-oriented solutions: The Greatness Group Co-Founder Gina Mollicone-Long, Velvet Chainsaw’s Jeff Hurt, Indiegogo’s Kate Drane, Barkada Creative Principal Pon Angara, and Principled Innovation Founder Jeff De Cagna, FASAE.

In addition, the following dynamic leaders will present at Forum Forward’s exclusive CEOnly® Summit: GLOBALSTRAT Founder Terrance Barkan, CAE, United Airlines’ Greg Jones, GE Healthcare’s Robert Schwartz and The MASIE Center Founder Elliott Masie.

“The association industry collectively faces challenges to demonstrating unique value to members and achieving revenue goals. Forum Forward is designed to provide association professionals with solutions to help them mitigate risks and turn challenges into opportunities,” says Association Forum President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE.

Mitchell Dvorak, MS, CAE, Account Executive at Bostrom Corporation and Chair of the Forum Forward Program Advisory Group stated, “There’s something for everyone at Forum Forward—from the CEOnly Summit for association executives, to more than 30 education sessions that covers all association management functions for all levels of association management, to the Innovation Hub that lets everyone test-drive new technology and tools—with the end goal of everyone coming away with tools or ideas to accelerate their associations.”

New this year is a prominent focus on women’s issues, more innovative education session delivery and room design, and more opportunities for people to naturally connect and collaborate through the “Innovation Annex.” In addition, to help attendees better link concepts and strategies learned in the various education sessions to solutions being showcased at the event, exhibitors will be present via a “genius bar.” Also, a “learning MC” throughout the day will help attendees connect the dots of their learnings and maximize their time at Forum Forward.

Association Forum recognizes this event would not be possible without the support from its partners and is pleased to introduce its newest partnership with Chicago’s Garrett Popcorn. The relationship is designed to enhance the experience for Association Forum’s attendees. Garrett will be onsite during Forum Forward providing popcorn samples to attendees.
