af-pcma.pngCHICAGO (May 28, 2020)— Association Forum and PCMA are pleased to announce an education partnership. With over 7,500 members and a global audience of over 50,000, PCMA is the world’s largest network of business events strategists.

Association Forum will leverage its voice in the Chicagoland area and beyond to promote PCMA’s Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification and Digital Events Fast Track course to its members. A unique code will allow Association Forum’s members to purchase the products at the PCMA member rate.

“Training in digital events is more relevant now than ever before,” said Michelle Mason, president and CEO of Association Forum. “Our community is strengthened by the expertise of likeminded organizations such as PCMA,” she added.

The DES certification is designed to help events strategists plan, produce and measure results of live-streamed and digital engagement events. The course can be taken live twice a week over seven weeks or done self-paced. The certification helps position events strategists as an authority on digital events, demonstrates dedication to the field and also offers an established community of more than 450 individuals who have received certification.

For events staff who are interested in pivoting quickly towards virtual event adoption, PCMA recommends its Digital Events Fast Track course. The course consists of five modules (as opposed to the certification’s 10 modules) and is designed to accelerate an individual’s digital event mindset. Time invested in both the full course and the Fast Track can be used towards the 25 clock hours required to sit for certification.

“As a global network of events professionals, PCMA knows that the ability to design and launch a digital event has never been more important to businesses and organizations everywhere,” said Sherrif Karamat, president and CEO of PCMA. “Our Digital Experience Institute has been a leading authority on digital events for the last decade. We’re proud to be partnering with Association Forum to make the Digital Event Strategist educational resource available to their members.”

Both organizations look forward to growing their relationship and working together to serve the association community. For more information on Association Forum, visit associationforum.org. For more information on PCMA, visit PCMA.org.
