Program Description:

Chicago is one of the top cities for associations as well as for sports which makes marketing very competitive. In order to stay relevant you have to be creative, take risks and sometimes completely start from scratch by flipping your marketing upside down.

Join us on September 20, from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM, to hear from Jim Burda, Vice President, Marketing Partnerships at the Chicago Sky about the similarities between marketing for a women’s sports team and marketing for associations.

Jim will discuss the challenges they face and best practices they utilize in order to compete in this competitive Chicago market. These efforts have resulted in the Sky moving from number 8 in the WNBA to number 2 in marketing partnerships narrowing in on league leader New York Madison Square Garden Properties.

Attendees Will Learn:

•  Ideas for identifying problems and appropriate
 solutions
•  What is PS2 and how it can help your association
•  How to minimize resistance and improve “buy-in” between different departments
•  Ideas to connect with your audience “where they are”
•  How to develop sponsorship value to improve sponsorship sales and retention
