Association Forum of Chicagoland Extends Partnership with Lippman Connects to Produce Attendee Acquisition Roundtable and Exhibit Sales Roundtable in Chicago

CHICAGO (April 17, 2015) - Association Forum is pleased to announce that it is continuing as the exclusive association partner of Lippman Connects’ June 25 Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR) and the July 30 Exhibit Sales Roundtable (ESR), both of which will be held in Chicago. The partnership began in 2012 and both parties report continued benefits from the relationship.

AAR is a one-day, invitation-only workshop, where an intimate group of event marketers learn from peers and subject matter experts to apply the latest tactics and technologies to find, attract and retain attendees. This year’s program includes contributions from experts representing CompuSystems, Exhibit Surveys, MDG, Trade Show Executive and Visit Orlando. In addition to an updated Attendee Acquisition Resource Book, AAR participants will also receive a copy of the recently published Attendee Acquisition Metrics and Practices Survey, produced by Lippman Connects and Exhibit Surveys.

ESR provides an intimate group of exhibit and sponsorship sales as well as service professionals the opportunity to meet, network and learn from peers and a select group of subject matter experts in a hands-on, interactive format. Expert contributors from Exhibit Surveys, EXPOCAD, Freeman, MDG, National Trade Productions, and Trade Show Executive will share best practices and brainstorm new ideas to help attendees strengthen their exhibit sales and sponsorship programs. In addition to an updated Exhibit Sales Roundtable Resource Book, ESR participants will also receive a copy of the recently published Exhibitor and Sponsorship Sales Metrics and Practices Study, produced by Lippman Connects and Exhibit Surveys.

“We’re thrilled to have this opportunity to continue our partnership with Association Forum to produce an Attendee Acquisition Roundtable and an Exhibit Sales Roundtable in Chicago,” says Lippman Connects President Sam Lippman. "For any organization that targets associations, partnering with Association Forum to reach beyond the Washington, D.C. market is an important part of that equation."

"We’re thrilled to partner with Sam and Lippman Connects to provide our membership with this executive-level programming for the meetings, convention and exhibition industry," says Association Forum Manager of Business Development Kendra Afeld. "As a past attendee of these programs, I know first-hand of the tremendous value that these exclusive roundtables will offer our membership."

AAR attendee Jamie Riley, senior director of marketing and public relations, CEDIA, agrees: "I'm active in many professional marketing groups but the Attendee Acquisition Roundtable is truly the event and networking group I've been searching for. AAR attendees face the same challenges I do, and it's helpful to get feedback and ideas from other professionals that are marketing events."

"At the Exhibit Sales Roundtable, I gained several new solutions that I can immediately implement to increase exhibit sales and upsell sponsors,” stated Grace Cular Yee, director of sales, Food Processing Suppliers Association/PROCESS EXPO. “It was a valuable experience because of the productive networking and open and enthusiastic discussions. I look forward to attending a future ESR.”
